Pecyn llyfr a CD

50 popular Welsh folk songs skilfully arranged by E. Olwen Jones. This excellent resource has a good cross section of songs containing simple piano accompaniments and guitar chords, together with a full, singable English translation of the lyrics.

Included in the package is a CD containing a recording of each of the songs by professional musicians. The full version of each first verse is performed together with an accompaniment only version of the other verses. This allows children to sing along to the recording in karaoke style and means that teachers without keyboard skills can make use of the material.

The pack was especially commissioned by ACCAC to assist in the teaching of various aspects of the National Curriculum in Wales — the Welsh dimension in particular.
